About the WDSRA Foundation
FY15/16 Annual Report
Learn how your contributions are making an impact!
Special recreation is different.
It is the ‘can do’ in a world where, often times, parents are being told what their loved one can’t or won’t accomplish. Special recreation introduces friends, opportunities and the promise of a quality of life that is measured solely by one’s hopes and dreams.
What makes this possible? You do!
It is your efforts and the collective efforts of everyone who, in one way or another, has touched the lives of our families.
Thank YOU to The Coleman Foundation!
We want to extend a HUGE thanks to The Coleman Foundation for their partnership on Giving Tuesday. For the fourth consecutive year they have offered WDSRA a matching grant specifically around the Giving Tuesday movement. They have challenged us to increase our giving, focus on online giving and increase our social media exposure. They continue to raise the bar in giving and we are genuinely grateful for their support.
Thank you to The Coleman Foundation for your vision and partnership!
TOGETHER we can create Equal Fun for Everyone!
Making special recreation available to all families! Support by the WDSRA Foundation allows WDSRA to keep the cost of services low while sustaining the high quality programming. In addition, funding from the WDSRA Foundation provides much needed scholarships to many of the WDSRA families.
We invite you to partner with us! We believe in building lasting relationships in our communities that will further the WDSRA mission, benefit our participants and create long term business partners.
Support the WDSRA Foundation! Throughout the year, the WDSRA Foundation receives amazing support and generosity from many groups and individuals. Support comes in many forms including event participation, sponsorships, donations, merchandise and volunteer efforts. Proceeds from various fundraising events hosted by the WDSRA Foundation benefit WDSRA.
Thank YOU for making Equal Fun for Everyone possible!
The WDSRA Foundation was developed to establish long term programs of giving from individual businesses and organizations to further the goals and ideals of the Western DuPage Special Recreation Association. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization.
