Team WDSRA 2008 Bank of America Chicago Marathon 10.12.08
Anthony Solis Donation Goal $500
Current location: Wheaton, IL Occupation: Commodity Manager Previous Experience Running: 29 years Who do you rely of for support? Willpower. I think about many different subjects while running, but completing the mission-the run-is always #1. What do you like to do when you are not running? I keep active doing projects around the house, participating on a City Commission, lead a large homeowners association, do other sports like coach soccer, cycling, and most of all, enjoy time with my wife and kids. What does it mean to be running for Team WDSRA? This is an opportunity to be in public declaring my support during the run and raising funds prior to the fun for a respected community organization that cares for the disabled. Every year at the 4th of July Parade in Wheaton my family sits across from the WDSRA group. It always makes me think about how precious life is, no matter whether disabled or not, and to thank the good Lord for the WDSRA clients and wonderful caring staff. What are you planning on doing immediately following the marathon? Enjoy completing my first marathon, celebrate with family, take 1-2 days off immediately following for recovery, and then consider if future marathons make sense in my overall fitness plan.
