Events are designed to create awareness of WDSRA and to raise funds to support WDSRA. Building awareness makes it possible to reach people with special needs who may not know about services and the many volunteers it takes to run programs. The funds raised make it possible for WDSRA to provide a variety of programs and inclusion services. Contributions allow WDSRA to continue to provide quality recreational programming, qualified staff, specialized equipment, needed scholarships, and ensure that the cost of programs stay low.
