Benefits & Highlights

  • Recreation services can increase your community involvement, practice of life skills and enhance your quality of life.
  • Rec & Roll is offered 5 days a week and meets 9am-2pm. You can sign up for 1-5 days a week.
  • Participants must be able to function in a 1:6 ratio and perform all of their own daily living skills. Each location is limited to 12 participants. This applies to the following locations: Naperville Sportsman’s Clubhouse, Carol Stream WDSRA, Glen Ellyn Ackerman, and Wheaton Central Athletic Complex.
  • There are locations which accommodate participants who need more staff assistance. Participants must be able to function in a 1:3 ratio. These locations are designed for participants who may require some assistance with daily living skills or emotional support from staff. Each location is limited to 9 participants.  This applies to the following locations: Carol Stream Fountain View and Naperville Fort Hill.

Online

Registration is done on an annual basis each fall for the following year. To qualify an intake must be completed with the Day Program Assistant Manager. Please contact us about availability prior to registration.

Yes! A visit to the Rec & Roll program is a part of the Intake Process. See the Contact Us section for the appropriate staff member.

Rec & Roll offers you maximum flexibility to accommodate jobs or other commitments. Though Rec & Roll is offered 5 days a week, you can choose which days you attend.

Invite us to speak at your next Transition Parent Night, or we’d be happy to schedule a class visit during the school day. Rec & Roll provides a unique opportunity for graduating students to transition into an environment where they can continue to grow and learn with meaningful activities and life experiences.

      • Please fill out the Rec & Roll Interest Form to indicate your needs and preferences.  A Day Program Assistant Manager will receive the completed form and reach out to you with the next steps.
