Welcome to Summer Day Camp

WDSRA IS CELEBRATING ITS 50 ANNIVERSARY!
                                                           TH

Since its humble beginnings in 1976 with a single-day camp, WDSRA has grown
into a thriving program, offering a variety of camps and activities for countless
       participants and staff members.

Our goal is to provide a welcoming and engaging environment where campers
can develop essential skills, including social interaction, motor coordination, and
       community involvement—all while having fun!

This summer, campers can look forward to action-packed days filled with sports,
games, creative arts, swimming, exciting field trips, and more. With so many
enriching experiences planned, Summer 2026 is sure to be unforgettable!

Our dedicated staff members are carefully selected based on their experience in
recreation, ability to adapt activities to individual needs, and passion for working
with children and young adults with disabilities. Additionally, all WDSRA employees
undergo thorough background checks to ensure a safe and supportive environment.

We are excited to offer a range of camp options for Summer 2026. Some formats
have been updated, so please review the options to find the best fit for your child.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me or connect with a Program
Supervisor overseeing your child’s camp. We can’t wait to share another summer of
       fun, learning, and friendship!

       Sincerely,
       Emily Ackerman
